Amelie talks about her constantly, and squeals anytime she finds out she gets to go see her. She loves to snuggle up & watch TV with Grandma, ride in her car, play at her house... Anything that has to do with Grandma!
Oliver grunts, smiles and giggles the second he sees her... That's usually reserved for Daddy, Mommy, Amelie and really yummy food, but Grandma now gets that reaction as well!
I've always said my kids were smart... This just proves it. Aaron and I love our kids' Grandma too!
I was playing around with my camera on Easter, trying to get a picture of mom. I got about 20 pictures of her laughing, blinking & turning away. She is quite possibly the worst picture getter I've ever met. NOT because she isn't beautiful, but because the camera must make her nervous or something! Anyway, I thought these pictures were really cute of her. It's bad photography on MY part (I'm sad that Oliver is so blurry! I'm working on my focusing!), but I love these pictures of her.

Well you are truly gracious Talia. Thank heavens Oliver is a delight to look at! I am so happy I have a family who loves me just because I love them. It's a simple exchange.
Love, Mom
good pictures Tal! Believe me, I KNOW how hard it is to get mom not blinking, lol! She is a beautiful mama and grandma though and Oliver is a squeezable pumpkin! (aka freakin adorable!)
these are so pretty of mom and adorable of oliver!! did you get a new camera?
No, I still just use the Canon Rebel I've always had... A few months ago (in December), I started teaching myself how to use the manual settings, rather than just using it on AUTO! It's been a long learning process, since I'm just slowly teaching myself when I get a chance (which is rare!), but I'm starting to get the hang of it! I'm at least starting to figure out what to set things to, and after these pics of mom, I figured out how to focus a bit better.
So, maybe in a couple years, I'll actually be a good photographer :)
Hmm. After looking through a bunch of pictures, I realize it's been since November that I've been fiddling with my manual settings... How sad that it's been 6 months and I STILL suck!
Seriously, though, it really has just been here and there, whenever I get some spare time! There's a lot to learn!
